The Basin and Range Trail guidebook (eBook, no paper print at this time) provides all of the information you need to plan a hike of any length along the BRT. Everything you need to know about the seasonality of a thru hike attempt, resupply strategies, type of hiking and terrain encountered and much more is covered in detail here in this guidebook.
IMPORTANT: This guidebook is not intended to be used as a navigation tool on its own. Most hikers want a GPX file to use on their phone or GPS device, and/or a PDF map set… they don’t want to navigate in the field using a clumsy eBook. This guidebook provides all information OTHER THAN maps and waypoints. Maps are separate from the guidebook for ease of use. Think of this book as the answer to all of the questions you have related to the planning and logistics aspect of the Basin and Range Trail.
